A passion for design runs deep inside me and I come from a family of artists and artisans.  After earning a Business Degree from Simmons College and later a Masters in Elementary Education from Boston University, I started my career in education as a teacher and later in educational software publishing but always found time to help friends with design projects and transform my own homes.  During this time, I also expressed my eye for detail and love of design in company catalog layouts, trade show booth design and website development.

Starting my own design business had always been a "maybe someday" grand idea, but once my twin boys were in school full time I thought, "What am I waiting for? I can do this! Now is the time!"  So, with the encouragement and support of my husband & many friends, I began the process of launching Webster Design - Inside & Out.  

As a first step toward my goal, I worked at the Pottery Barn and leveraged many of the learning & development opportunities that Williams-Sonoma, Inc. had to offer.  I have pursued additional formal professional development through CSP and RESA and I continue to hone my craft. Over the years, I have also taken on formal interior and exterior projects for new and existing home owners as well as those looking to sell.  Each project has unique requirements but the one constant is the satisfaction I get from providing my expertise and experience to help each customer realize their very personal design objectives.

With my business established, I can now say that I am truly doing something that I love and the fact that I am helping others is an added bonus!  Whether your desire is to improve the space inside or out, let's transform your home together!
